Nurse Practitioners

Mrs Jane Houston

Mrs Houston RN, BSc, MSc, is our Advanced Nurse Practitioner.

She already has a long experience as a qualified district nurse.

She is trained to see same patients as a GP.

Mrs Rebecca Holt

Mrs Holt  RN, BSc, is our Trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioner. She already has a long experience as a qualified acute care nurse.

She is training to be able to see the same patients as a GP through MSc programme at University of Salford.

She sees some patients independently and others under doctor`s supervision.

Mrs Shirley Marshall

Mrs Marshall RN is our Trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioner who has a vast experience as a qualified practice nurse.

She is training to be able to see the same patients as a GP through MSc programme at University of Salford.

She is also a qualified Supplementary Prescriber.

Before that she had acquired several years experience in primary care; initially as a health trainer and then as an assistant practitioner in General practice. She is very popular with our patients. She follows up most of our patients with long term conditions such as asthma , diabetes, chronic obstructive lung disease and cardiovascular diseases. She is married with three children and enjoys running.

  • Cervical cytology
  • Contraceptive advice
  • HRT advice

Healthcare Assistants

Mrs Chiamaka Umeadi

Chiamaka is our Healthcare Assistant and a qualified Data Analyst.

She is in-charge of clinical data and works under supervision of the practice nurse to deliver patient care.

Claire Lees

Claire holds clinics that include blood taking, blood pressure checks, NHS health checks, weight management and new patient registrations.
